1977 Scientific High School Diploma from the "Kykkos" Gymnasium in Nicosia (Cyprus) with a grade of 18/20.
1985 Degree in Medicine and Surgery (University of Siena – 30.10.1985) with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, discussing a thesis entitled "Clinical correlations between therapeutic response and plasma levels during prolonged treatment with neuroleptics and antidepressants".
1985 State exam: positive result for professional qualification (University of Siena - 2nd session 1985).
